February 23rd - The daughter of women’s tennis great Serena Williams will mark her place in the record books this week as she becomes the youngest tennis player to ever be ranked 25th or higher in the world tennis rankings.

Alexis Ohanian, who will be turning six months old on March 1st, is expected to take over the 24th overall position in the WTA rankings this week. The ranking is a career high for Alexis, who was not available to comment because she was taking a nap.
“Alexis is very modest about her abilities,” said her proud mother. “She doesn’t have much quickness on the court since she hasn’t learned how to walk yet, but her serve has already reached 105 mph and her net game is one of the best I’ve ever seen.”
Although the young star has not yet won a major title, she managed to reach the quarterfinals of the Australian Open last month, losing to her Aunt Venus in three sets.
“I have no doubt that Alexis will be ranked in the Top 10 by the end of the year,” said Serena. “I suspect that she’s been playing with a full diaper lately because she seems a bit uncomfortable out there, but once she learns how to talk she’ll be able to call for timeouts.”
